Among the guides who will accompany

guide on Etna).
The excursions which are recommended by Pippinitto’s
House allow you to discover little-trodden paths and
the untouched natural environments of the oldest active
volcano in Europe.
During the trip you will be shown the diverse flora and
fauna of Etna Itineries, and the difficulty and length of
the
excursion can be decided according to your personal
wishes. A pair of walking boots or at least a good
pair of trainers are advised.

Rosaria is a horse-riding instructor and organises excursions
on horseback for tourists.

4 hours excursions, for experienced riders, explore paths,
woods, villages and private holdings,
access to which is exclusive to our guests.
The following places are attainable on horseback:
Zafferana, the Petrulli Wood, Pietracannone, the Chestnut
tree
of a Hundred Horses, the Ilice of Saint Alfio and other
idyllic places on the slopes of Etna.
During these excursions you can ride either in the
English or the American style.
The price of the excursion:
55 Euro per person (a minimum of 2 people)
Excursions of 1 hour, per beginners, are also
available inside the riding school. These cost 15 Euros per
person. The riding centre will provide all security equipment.
